Hodor Honored as 2019 Best Super Yacht Support Vessel by Baird Maritime

Baird Maritime, one of the world's premier maritime publishing houses, has honored SHADOWCAT Hodor with its “2019 Best Super Yacht Support Vessel” award.

Bespoke support yacht Hodor is an exceptional shadow yacht, designed and delivered by Incat Crowther, YCTS Ltd. and Astilleros Armon Shipyards. Built on the stable and fuel-efficient catamaran hull, Hodor measures 66 meters, and is a custom designed support vessel that will travel with the mothership, while offering top speeds.

Described as “the world’s largest floating toy box,” Hodor, is equipped to house crew and carry small and large tenders, diving equipment, jet skis, quad motor vehicles and other toys that enhance the yachting lifestyle. Hodor also features a helicopter landing pad, certified for helicopters up to 6t, such as the EC145, and a submarine bay.  

For the “Best of 2019 Awards,” Baird Maritime presents honors across ten categories, using criteria such as innovative design, quality and style, as well as feedback from clients and noticeable market trends.
