Catalyst is a 69.6-metre companion vessel that brings together SHADOWCAT’s experience in aviation, tender operations, logistics and life at sea. Built on the proven catamaran platform with an expanded 15.5-metre beam, it is designed to give modern yacht programs greater capability, flexibility and operational freedom.
Aviation sits at the heart of Catalyst, with a hangar capable of accommodating an Airbus H145 with its blades on, a primary certified helicopter landing area for aircraft up to the H160 class, and a second landing area on the upper deck. An expansive tender deck provides space for larger tenders, equipment and specialist operations.
By moving aviation, tenders, equipment and operational infrastructure away from the mothership, Catalyst allows the primary yacht to focus on the owner and guest experience while expanding what the fleet can do as a whole.
